Festive Fun
Paddy, Seán, Fionán & Bobby made the front of the Echo this week in their Christmas jumpers.
The Senior room created some fantastic art work this week using felt.
The middle room made some creative Christmas art deigns using paint.
The Junior room added in a sensory station to their Aistear.
A very special visitor turned up to school today with selection boxes for the boys and girls who are all on the nice list!
Best of luck to the Cork Ladies Football team who play Dublin on Sunday in the All-Ireland Football Final- Be sure to sure to tune in and support the girls. Up the Rebels!

We hope everyone is enjoying the festive vibes throughout the school. Feel free to show off your best dance moves in the morning time on your way in while listening to the Christmas music.
An elf on the shelf has appeared in the school and we have named him Freddie.
Children are able to wear their Christmas jumpers or anything festive over their uniforms from next Monday Dec 14th until the day we get our holidays.
The infant room have been working on their Aistear for December- Santa’s Workshop.
Christmas holidays will be on Tuesday December 22nd at 12 noon. Please follow along with the one-way system already in place. We will stagger collection times:
Infant room & bus 11:45
1st-3rd Class 11:55
Senior room 12 noon
The school will reopen on Wednesday January 6th.
We have been running a whole school ticketing competition. Congratulations to our October and November winners: Bobby Hales, Paddy Higgins, Adele Lordan, Sonny Crowley, Chloe Galwey & Amie Millen. This competition will run every month, the more tickets one has, the greater chance of winning the prize!
Congratulations are also due to Ahiohill Tidy Towns who were nominated for a Pride of Place Award. This is a fantastic achievement for the parish, congratulations to all involved. Also thank you to the Tidy Towns committee for collaborating with Cork County Council in getting the new safety speed signs beside the school. This was funded by Clár in the hope of reducing the speed when passing the school-Everyone please aim for that smiley face!

Huge congratulations to Mrs Duane and her husband on the birth of their baby boy last Friday called Charlie.
Reminder for all pupils to wear their Cork jersey or anything red tomorrow (Friday 20th) as Cork are playing in the Munster final this Sunday November 22nd.
