We were thrilled to receive the Gold Curious Minds Award for STEM.
Energy!
We are proud to hold 3 Green School Flags for Litter and Waste, Water and Travel. This year our focus is on Energy. The children from Rang I to Rang VI have been busy writing very persuasive letters as to why they should be on the new Green School Committee.
Our New Set of Jerseys
The boys and girls are thrilled with their new set of jerseys. A huge thank you to our hardworking Parent's Association for their fundraising efforts.
School Tour-West Cork Secret
The Junior room had the best fun on their school tour in West Cork Secret.
Athletics
The whole school had a great 6 weeks of Athletics with Mr. Kelly.
Friendship week
The boys and girls of the Junior room really enjoyed making friendship bracelets with 5th and 6th class to celebrate Friendship Week.
Re-turn

About Our School
Ahiohill National School is a co-educational primary school located in the heart of Ahiohill, Enniskeane, under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork and Ross. The school is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere where every student is respected and valued. A dedicated and hardworking staff is committed to meeting the needs of all learners, striving to instill a lifelong love of learning in each child. At Ahiohill NS, there is a strong emphasis on play-based learning, particularly at the infant level, recognising the importance of creativity, curiosity, and exploration in early education. School Building
We have 3 large classrooms, a Resource Room, a spacious General Purpose Room along with a bright and welcoming Reception Area.
Football Pitch
We are lucky to have the use of a grass area behind the school.
Playground
We have lots of playground space. We are fortunate to have a large playing yard beside the school which affords plenty of space to all our pupils for running around, both at breaktimes and during PE classes.
Garden
We have a lovely garden in our school that the children along with Parents keep bright and tidy. The Green School Committee also lend a helping hand!
