Reminder - The school will be closed on Fri Oct. 26th due to our school being a polling station for the elections on this day.

School will reopen
Due to the high level of snow still around Ahiohill National School, the school will reopen at 10.30 am tomorrow Monday March 5th. No bus will run in the morning, but hopefully will be in action in the afternoon.
Update: School closure
In line with advice and the red alert, Ahiohill National School will remain closed Thursday 1st and Friday March 2nd. The school will reopen Monday March 5th.

February News
Welcome back to everyone after mid-term break.
Well done to Mike Crowley, Pádraig O' Driscoll and Seán Coffey from the senior room who took part in a debate against Ballinacarriga.
We are taking part in tennis every Friday for 5 weeks.
3rd Class girls took part in an indoor hurling blitz in Ballinacarriga against Barryroe and Laragh National school- Well done to all involved. 3rd Class boys will be playing this Wednesday 21st. Best of luck to everyone involved.
Food dudes bronze, silver and gold awards are currently in action as pupils are eating their fruit and vegetables between home and school.
January News
Welcome back to Mrs Duane who has returned from maternity leave and best wishes to Mr O' Driscoll in his new school.
We are currently participating in Food Dudes which began on Tuesday January 16th. The Junior classes will take part for 16 days, while the senior room will do 8. Everybody has been very brave so far-Keep up the great work!
Huge congratulations to Claire Foyle, Seán Coffey and Ava Crowley who won prizes in the Ballineen Foróige Art competition.
Mid-term is fast approaching and the school will be closed for Thursday 15th and Friday 16th of February.
Cork City Sports
Congratulations to the boys and girls who took part in the Cork City Sports this year in C.I.T. on June 1st. We had great success, coming home with three first place, and one third place in the individual sprints and one third place in the relay - Fantastic results for Ahiohill N.S.
